System Sinclair ZX Spectrum
Company Sinclair Research Ltd.
Year Released 1984
Type of Game Arcade Adventure: Platform
Competition styleMost points, most stages, least time
Info/Special RulesYou must start the game on the easiest level. So DON'T press 'J' or 'K' before pressing FIRE to start the game. You can easily see if its the easiest level you start on, as there's only one skull on the first screen. Starting play on a harder difficulty will get the recording DQ'ed.

IMPORTANT: We only play 3 loops, meaning the third time you get to Montezuma's Treasure room and complete it, that's the score that counts. All points gained after that is worthless :)

2006-09-10 22:08:49: 3 levels completed with 5 men left (probably a bonus here for the people that might actually play this :) ends at 187k during the 5th level while trying the infinite loop room, there's got to be something to that red key that is always left in play. Note: this is an easy clone of Montezuma's revenge for the atari and apple :)

Edited by Frankie 2006-09-11 10:19:46: Yes, maybe we need to build in a lives left bonus, as I believe for players who know the game its not difficult to max out scorewise. Lets wait and see. But 3 loops is enough I guess :)

2006-09-09 07:52:55: sometimes the spectaculator makes avi files when recording... i thought this one was 58 minutes becauyse the avi file was timed at 58, i guess it must have been recording more than just one game? 20 seems correct though.

Edited by Frankie 2006-09-09 12:01:12: Correct me if I'm wrong Chad, but I only get this recording to be about 20 minutes long and not 58?
