2011-04-02 16:23:31: 5 movies, 7.5 MB file. Use RPGOne's Dragon Warrior(not Dragon Quest) translation. Upgrading recording to a MESS recording. This defeats my previous recording by over 33 minutes. This is a lot easier than the original Dragon Warrior; in the original, you ran from Red Dragons as fast as you can. In this version, you fight as many of them as you can for a quick 350XP every time. You also can critical hit the Dragonlord in this version, in which I did so twice for the easy victory.
Confirmed by Skito2011-04-07 13:14:04: the gold golems give 650 gold here, i think that's also a large difference. (01:30:40.90) (00:35:10.46) (00:11:42.86) (00:48:41.50) (00:12:29.91)
Comment by gameboy92011-04-06 04:06:46: Hmmmm... well, if we started doing that, then we would have to move some of Kale's recordings to side competitions, as he used translations. As I doubt this really affects playtime by a great degree, we probably should just keep it where it is. Here's the link to the translation - use the "DW Patch". Thanks again.
Comment by Skito2011-04-05 18:01:16: cool, inp file is there but this doesn't playback against the (J) rom, should this be moved to side competition for translation purposes?
Comment by gameboy92011-04-04 15:25:59: @Skito: Recording was re-uploaded... give it another download. Thanks again.
Comment by gameboy92011-04-04 11:59:36: Huh... that's interesting. I'm wondering if it's a Firefox issue... but I'll upload the file hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Thanks.
Comment by Skito2011-04-04 11:58:24: I think the file was not uploaded right, too large an upload probbaly. URL /users/gameboy9/6365 - gameboy9 - Dragon Quest I & II (J) - Dragon Quest I - SNES-Regulation Play - 31584.zip was not found on this server

2006-06-26 15:52:02: Used 'Dragon Quest I & II (J) [T+Eng2.0DQu1_RPGOne].smc' translation. Uploaded to demonstrate that translations of games are legal, but you must mention the GoodSNES ROM name or provide a link to the translation.
